2012年4月11日 · I've never even seen 1/4 pressure treated plywood or even anything you could use to side a pump house outside that's 1/4" thick. The walls should be at least 1/2" thick not 1/4". The studs should be 2 X 4's not 2 X 6's. 2 X 6's would be over kill.

2012年3月8日 · If you are planning on running a booster pump and some 120v stuff out there maybe you could add a 50 amp sub panel out there with some 6-3 w ground wire and you would have power for both the pump, booster pump and some 120v outlets without running all separate lines. 6-3 wire panel couple ground rods and ground wire.

2016年9月20日 · Thinking of a 20A 120V breaker going to a duplex outlet that pump plugs into. And a second 15 or 20A breaker for a second duplex outlet for filter controls. For above just 4 slots needed, but perhaps allow for at least 2 more. Elsewhere I have read conflicting stuff about need for ground rods/plates at pump house.

2020年5月15日 · A 1500 sq ft house can require as much or more heat in the same climate as a 3000 sq ft one. There are too many factors for sq ft to be used. It's more proportional to exterior/exposed surface area than floor area, but still, insulation and leakage greatly impact heat loss/gain. There's a lot of junk on the internet along with some good stuff.

2022年12月25日 · Live in rural area and have well with submerged pump plus a galvanized tank which is 5 ft tall and all about 50 ft from detached garage and power. Current footprint for all is roughly 6 x 6. Pipes go underground to tank to house. About 1 ft deep (south ga). I want to build a pump house which will protect equipment fro rare freezes and weather.

2010年12月6日 · There is gravel in the bottom of my PVC basin upon which the pump sits, 17" below the basin top. Not sure how high the tethered switch floats from the pump - maybe 6"-8". I've read you want the pump set to never let the water get past 1 or 2 inches over the top of the foundation drain pipe entering your sump.
