Point Loma offers a great view of the entire San Diego coast! You can watch all the military ships and aircraft as well as personal boats. There is also a 2 mile hike that goes down to sea level which gets you below the haze at the top.

There are, in fact, no real beaches on Point Loma, but it’s one of the best places in San Diego to meditate on waves crashing on the cliffs and explore tidepools in the rocky reefs full of marine life.
