2025年1月17日 · Issue abstract: After Norton 360 automatically updated to the new V24, Windows Update starting hanging and Windows task host window would block from shutting down, due to said update process hanging. Only upon deinstalling Norton 360 completely, the Windows Update process works again as it should. Product & version number: Norton 360.

If so that is what caused your issue. What was the stop code that is hidden? It will tell us a bit more about what caused the issue.

Tried a Manual and other LUD's downloaded OK but got stuck on the Product Update section.
