    Do I need a multi engine rating to become a pilot?
    Not required to earn a multi engine rating: If the candidate has never earned a previous pilot certificate, the requirements must be met for a private pilot certificate, although the multi engine aircraft may be used for all training. Reference 14 CFR §61.103 for a complete listing of all private pilot license requirements.

    You will need the following items by the conclusion of your flight training: FAR/AIM, Sectional Map, Flight Computer, Plotter, Textbook, Pilot Logbook, Written Test Guide, PTS, Oral Prep Guide. (Most of these items are included in our “Pilot Kits“.)
