Pretty Bay is located in Birzebbuga in the Southern part of Malta and is a man-made large sandy beach. The build-up and the buildings around the beach give Pretty Bay a special charm. Even though the bay is artificially filled with sand, it is quite nice.

Much industry in the south it seems and there is always a view of it. That said, this beach is beautiful. Clean clear water and fine sand. There's a main stretch where you can hire beds but there are more bits further up too. Not seen any showers but there are places to eat and drink and life guards. Very impressed with the quality of the beach.

One has the Impression of swimming in Gonfreville l'Orcher in the port of Le Havre. The water is hot indeed, sand, but the whole remains dirty. There are other much more beautiful places on the island than "Pretty Bay" not pretty at all...
