Founded in 2016 by three siblings, the French House of Polène creates leather goods that combine minimalism and creative expression in order to offer unique and signature shapes achieved through excellent craftsmanship.

This sculptured compact tote bag featuring waves, folds, and curves can be used in two ways. Basket-style, with its sides open and straps on the outside, or As a flower-like closed bag, with its sides tucked in and its straps crossed on the inside.

Obtained by modeling the leather on a wooden mould, the “Tonca” bag’s roundness is shaped by its folds that blend into a twisted metal buckle. The bag’s contrasting body and shoulder strap feature smooth and textured leathers.

A reinterpretation of Polène’s flagship model, the “Numéro Un Nano” is instantly recognizable thanks to the blended curves and folds that give this model its signature shape.
