Note that this is just a copy of your Pokémon. The Pokémon will still be available to use in the Nintendo Switch game while the copy is on the Poké Ball Plus. Without pressing anything else on Poké Ball Plus, press the HOME Button on the right Joy-Con to return to the HOME Menu. If a firmware update is available, you will be prompted to update the controller. In this case, select Update.

Poké Ball Plus can be charged in the following ways: While connected directly to the Nintendo Switch AC adapter. Lift the connector cover located at the base of the wrist strap on Poké Ball Plus. Connect the Nintendo Switch AC adapter (sold separately), model No. HAC-002, directly to the Poké Ball Plus and then to a wall outlet.

Important: In order to access Support Mode, Poké Ball Plus must be in standby mode (the LED is powered off) and not be currently connected to another device, such as Nintendo Switch or Pokémon GO Plus. When Poké Ball Plus begins to charge, a brief charging chime will go off. If the unit is muted, it will briefly vibrate. If the battery charge is low, Poké Ball Plus may neither vibrate nor chime when it begins charging.
