Plumeria (Plumeria rubra 'Scott Pratt') Please correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that the Scott Pratt is the ultimate historical plumeria variety in America. It was the first plumeria registered by the PSA. Enough history. This plant is a vigorous grower, a great bloomer, and (for a red) is easy to root.

That was a big ouch to my pocket (a $45 lesson: 2-tip key west for $25 and hot pink for $20) but that was through no fault of EP. 2018年7月17日 · Plumeria grow into very tall trees, so if you want to use a small pot like that, you'll have to be continually pruning back the branches, and even ocasionally pruning the roots to keep it the right size for the pot. I have to move plants in and out too, so I know how hard it is. I use a furniture dolly to transport mine, but it's still a chore.

2016年3月4日 · Anyway, Liz says we'd moved the plumeria into the garage by then, and I haven't noticed any of the plumeria planted in the ground around the neighborhood dying off after those cold nights, so it *probably* wasn't a freeze. As you say, Hetty, the low humidity here is a beast -- it'll dry out even very hardy plants before you can blink!

2014年7月3日 · I want to go to Dean's now! That is how I ended up with all my plumeria on my driveway! I just had to have them! I never spend a lot of money. Some were gifts. I never knew how they would grow under my conditions so I am happy as all get out to have what I have. I have a few plumeria gathered from my travels that remind me of good times.
