2015年4月28日 · Years ago I restored a gently used Pioneer PL-41 I inherited from my grandfather. I replaced the belt, bought a Shure M97x cartridge, and shined up the cover to look like new. I bought a new Cambridge Audio P640 phono preamp so I could use the TT without having to loop in the phono section of my inherited Pioneer TA-1120A.

2023年4月11日 · The specs for the PL-41 don't specify it, which makes me suspect the -50dB is unweighted. The weighting compensates the measured value against the audibility of the noise spectrum, so that -50 dB unweighted figure can not be compared to a weighted value from another machine, or not even against unweighted values from other machines.

2012年4月3日 · Recently acquired: one Pioneer PL-41 in OK shape; not expensive. The CL seller accepted a reasonable offer after we discovered that the motor was seized. At the price, I was willing to take a gamble on rebuilding it, finding a replacement, or parting the whole thing out.

2011年12月17日 · Yes john you are correct, the pl-61 and pl-71 came out a few years after the pl-41 was tops. I was lucky eneough to have had an uncle who worked for pioneer australia in the late 60s i knew of the top of my head this answer, but thanks to good ol uncle i also have original sales sheets all with wholesale retail prices and years from the late 60s to early 70s.

2023年2月10日 · A friend of mine had a Pioneer PL-41 buried deep in a shipping container for years. There was moisture damage inside and he dug everything out and was throwing out a lot of things, including this Pioneer turntable. I told him I would take it and maybe see if I can get it going although I have never had to restore a turntable that needed such work.

PL-41 easy to re-plinth in a custom, massive plinth that will upgrade the system. Thorens, not easy to replinth. 4. PL-41 easy to remove the tonearm and put any other tonearm.
