2015年10月19日 · I would not consider the 2gp pig in 5e to be of age to butcher. This is more likely a piglet. As a trade good, it would be a young animal, just weaned, small and easily transportable, ready for a home to fatten it up. A full sized sow or boar is not a "trade good". Same thing goes for the "cow" entry later in the trade goods section.

2017年7月24日 · I will note that the Hawk actually has higher perception mod than the owl (+4 for Hawk, +3 for Owl). The Hawk also has Keen Sight (advantage on perception checks involving sight)--although the Owl has Keen Sight and Keen Hearing as well, and also Darkvision, so it does have selling points on perception.

2015年8月3日 · Ended up doing the math off of the pig value in the PHB compared to real life prices. Which places a parakeet, talking or otherwise, at about 2cp. Chickens, funnily enough, come out to about 2cp, their listed price, when compared to pig prices, which makes me feel like I'm not the first one doing this math.
