Mission and History - Perot Museum
1946 – The origins of The Science Place began when the Dallas Health Museum was founded in Dallas by a group chartered as the Dallas Academy of Medicine, “to provide a common channel of enthusiastic effort for all the forces of health in Dallas and the Southwest.”
Parking at the Perot Museum
The Museum Parking Lot (Lot B), located under Woodall Rodgers Freeway, is covered and well-lit 24 hours a day. Once you park, there is a safe crosswalk on the north side of the lot heading toward the Museum, which leads visitors up the ramp toward the main entrance.
