Nov 13, 2023 · It appears Perkele was an old Finnish pagan God, but after Christianity (the religion that brought the concept of 'devil' / 'satan'), Perkele was used instead of 'devil', however you could argue that, because Perkele, as a god, was historically with the Finns BEFORE the devil, he can be considered as being The Devil's Grandfather.
