Agreed. The 10.8mm diameter is on the thick side. Pretty happy with an Energel in a Sarasa Grand, at 10mm diameter. Pentel Philography is also 10mm, but a little more top-heavy, and twist instead of click. Got a Ti POST, a Pentel Hexreform, a Pentel BL625, and an Ohto Liberty on the way to try as well.

2020年7月5日 · Yeah, the Pentel Energel Style Pro, AKA Philography is a quality metal twist chassis, available in several colors. Nice weight, diameter for extended writing. Both of mine were under $20 (each). The list of refills it takes without modding is outstanding, but since you're looking for the one it was designed for anyway, I guess that's moot.

2021年7月23日 · The American machined pens are all spec for Pilot G2 and Parker refills, which are 2.3mm in tip diameter. EnerGel, Sarasa, and Signo are all 2.0mm. Big I Designs makes a bunch of titanium pens (click pen, twist pens, capped pens) that had an adjustable tip which will tightly hold any refill, including EnerGel.

Some hacked and oddball options: Kaweco Sport gel roller, Namisu N2, and Retro 51 Tornado fit cut-down Pentel Energel refills. Machine Era Pen Original is made for Pilot brand G2.

I have all the major brand gel pens ( Pilot G2,pentel Energel X, Zebra sarasa, papermate gel, bic gelocity quickdry, xiaomi gel pens(?)) And the zebra is both the smoothest, quickest to dry and have a special ink that doesn't reflect lights.

2023年6月6日 · This is pretty much the way. Most Chinese capped rollerball pens will take a Pentel Energel. The main exception is the Jinhao brand, some of which use the threaded refill style of Montblanc pens. The Baoer 388 is one example that I own and like. I have several in different colors that I use with both Pentel Energel and Pilot V5 RT refills.
