Pembrey Country Park is a haven for explorers, walkers and cyclists. Our campsite caters for everyone whether you enjoy long walks, the beach or the tranquil woodland environment, then Pembrey Country Park is the place to be.

Getting here Pembrey Country Park has excellent road communications. Situated just off the main A484 road between Carmarthen and Llanelli. The M4 junction 48 is just a short hop to the east of Llanelli (approx. 30 minutes away) and the A40 covers the approach west and north of Carmarthen. Cycling to us?

Pembrey Country Park wasn’t always the magnificent parkland that you see today, previously it was the site of Pembrey’s Royal ordnance factory. The isolated sand dunes of Pembrey Burrows provided the ideal conditions for the dangerous occupation of the manufacture of explosives!

Pembrey Country Park has 500 acres of park and woodland to explore and within this space we have 3 trails that have been marked out that will allow you to explore and learn about our woodland, ponds and plants.
