2018年3月12日 · Yeah, I’d say the PEGI system is a bit better than ESRB. Doesn’t mean a lot of people don’t ignore it though. The total list of ratings is PEGI 3 (things like Mario kart), PEGI 7 (Lego games, Pokemon etc), PEGI 12 (Street Fighter, Final Fantasy etc) PEGI 16 (Halo, Uncharted etc) and PEGI 18 (COD, GTA etc).

2011年7月6日 · As someone who lives in North America, I've occasionally disagreed with an ESRB rating or two. Almost always, I check the PEGI rating and, sure enough, it is more in accordance with my beliefs. Not only that, but PEGI also has specific markers for "Fear" and "Discrimination" in games, something that is important that the ESRB lacks.

2021年9月18日 · They're different companies using different metrics in areas with different cultures. It's not an exact science, either. ESRB really only uses 4 of their 5 ratings in mainstream gaming (AO is basically only used for porn and gambling), and it doesn't have a rating between T (13+) and M (17+) that might be more equivalent to PEGI 16.

Unfortunately many games are not available with USK. I dont really mind Pegi, because their logos are small and look nice. Also their spines are centered like USK. But most games i am interested in are only available with the esrb logo, that i used to hate, and their spines are different to EU spines so it looks extra chaotic on the shelf.

2022年10月27日 · ESRB 99% of the time since I live in NA and shipping fees are just make it cheaper for ESRB copies but say if I buy a game on amazon and I get a pegi copy not a big deal I ha e I think 3 pegi games as of now that being, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Wasteland 3, and Dark Souls Trilogy (this one didnt release in NA so it had to be pegi)

2024年9月17日 · PEGI is absolutely hideous in comparison, although I do like it for this particular release because it happens to match the color scheme and the 18 rating cracks me up considering the game literally has no gambling
