2023年6月17日 · Another thing: you can't Repair your armor in combat, even if you have Quick Repair and are Legendary in Crafting. How do you feel about armor choice in PF2e? : r/Pathfinder2e
Choosing and buying armor feels like the most anemic part of character creation to me. Armor traits aren't nearly as impactful as weapon traits, so armor selection is almost always "choose the heaviest armor you have proficiency in and that you meet the STR requirement for", which IMO is a stark contrast to the vast amount of choice avaliable during the rest of character creation.
Am I misunderstanding mage armor? It seems really good, but
Im new to pathfinder rules, and I was struggling to understand this, and then Realized that Mage Armor replaces the bonus one would get for wearing magical armor that other classes get. I was confused at first because I thought "surely casters must be proficient "unarmored" otherwise they'd be at a huge disadvantage".

Armor Dex Bonus Increases? : r/Pathfinder2e - Reddit
I don't think there is a way to increase the Dex bonus, but you can use Armor Potency Runes to increase the item bonus to AC that a set of armor/explorers clothing offers: 160gp for +1 to AC 1060gp for +2 to AC 20560gp for +3 to AC The 160 go for +1 is probably worth it when you can reasonably afford it. Not sure about the others.

Advice: Heavy armor for high DEX characters? : r/Pathfinder2e
2022年8月19日 · Yeah, that's actually what I was thinking for the build, but even in that case, you get nearly the same defense with light armor (+5, leather +1 AC bonus with +4 DEX cap) vs heavy armor (+6, half-plate +5 AC bonus with +1 DEX cap). +1AC is nice, but is it worth the investment in multiple feats including an archetype (Sentinel for the heavy ...
