If you want to dump it using your computer, you need to own a compatible bluray drive (not every pc bluray drive can read ps3 discs) and then you need to decrypt it. XSX runs the game at 60 FPS, so it's the way to go for the time being if you have the console. The PS3 version also had performance issues on the console itself, where it ran at 20-30 FPS, the X360 version is a lot more stable and has better graphics.

Until Ps2 we are ok with emulator, even gamecube, wii, wiiu are fine for emulation - cpu goes only upto 70c temperature. PS3 and switch emulators REALLY brings cpu to knees - I saw 93C one time (mine is i5 12th gen i240p) . Conclusion: With todays average hardware avoid emulating ps3 , switch . Definitely they make your cpu hotter.

2023年1月26日 · Well, the reason I mentioned PS3 specifically was that it was the only emulator that I felt would be of concern. I am sure that the older consoles like SNES would run on this setup, and I actually have a setup that can already handle up to PS2 (but it can't handle PS3 except for few games).

2021年1月15日 · Because it's an emulator I dunno. Your trying to recreate the hardware and software the original console ran. The fact that ps3 was so wildly different than most system architecture shows how impressive being able to even run ps3 games on a PC even is.

I've played a few games with this emulator. I played a lot of persona 5, all of Nier Gestalt, a fair chunk of DrakenGuard 3.. and probably a handful of other titles. oh yeah a lot of the ps3 re-release of the kingdom hearts games. its a great emulator and its only been getting better.

Your PC is the problem. This isn't PC games you are running, this is a complex PS3 emulator running those games. You should aim for a 6c 12t CPU at the very least, the GPU is fine for RPCS3 since this emulator is CPU bound.
