A PS4 controller tbh when used with a hacked PS2 (not all games work with it though). I wish there was a hack to make OPL load when PS2 is turned on since you still need a regular PS2 controller to launch it. Sony PS2 controllers will always be the best.

Like I said, it works with my OG PS2 controller, which is obviously 1st party. Idk if the other ones I tried were. They certainly looked 1st party. If 1, 2, or 3 were the case, my OG controller wouldn't work with the adapter.

Logitech Wireless Action Controller ($15-$30, depending on whether receiver is included) There are two models, a big one and a small one. If you're unable to find either in person go with the small one. Great on battery life, feel great in hands, best alternative to actual PS2 controllers.

The Offically Licensed Logitech PS2 Wireless Controller has a solid build and top tier wireless connection strength compared to all the cheaper brands. It's battery powered though but for old consoles like this, get a pack of rechargeable batteries with a charger and you'll be all set.

2021年7月28日 · The original sony controller is the best. Most durable by far and I've gone through a lot of cheap PS2 controllers that break after a month. You're either going to have to deal with it and adapt, or you could try a converter, but a PS4 controller will be missing some features of the PS2 controller so I don't really recommend that.

2022年1月22日 · A PS2 controller shouldn't be more than $35. $80 is about $60 more dollars than I would pay for a PS2 controller. Thankfully I don't think there are nearly as many counterfeit controllers for PS2 compared to PS3. If it's a third party they should be relatively easy to identify.
