2019年6月27日 · I was told to use olive oil drops for a week and go in to have my ears irrigated. I did the olive oil drops for about four days and noticed a low hum after day four. I got some Otex ear drops to help shift some of the was before my irrigation as it felt so uncomfortable. I only used these drops for two days and continued to use the olive oil.

I bought Otex but was afraid to use it as it says on the packet not to use if you have tinnitus so I've been using regular olive oil. 2016年2月6日 · I can't take the sodium bicarbonate drops for more than 7 days to soften the wax ready for syringing; I cannot take the otex olive oil drops as they say not to use with tinnitus; I am worried that this is permanant tinnitus and that it will drive me crazy ; Please could someone help me on what to do.

2021年9月30日 · I believe it to be MEM (Middle Ear Myoclonus). My grave mistake was when I had this sensation of fullness in my ear. Thinking it was a build up of wax, I used Otex ear drops. I let the solution drain out and then stupidly used Earol ear drops straight after in an attempt to try something else. I had blocked my ear and got a sharp ache.

2018年1月13日 · So just before Xmas I stupidly stuck a cotton bud in my ear to relieve an itch. Next thing I know I've blocked my ear completely with wax. Had muffled hearing for a couple of days then I the ringing started. I kept taking otex ear drops then finally got my ears microsuctioned last on 3rd jan. The ringing greatly reduced.
