Dec 8, 2018 · Hello r/army, I arrived at Ft. Benning on July 2, and here we are 22ish weeks later after completing the first cycle of the new Infantry OSUT. Here is what we did and some of my thoughts after its all said and done.
Changing Infantry OSUT from 22 weeks to 16 weeks. : r/army
Bro, I went through infantry OSUT back in 2021 and they were staying the same shit back then. All the trainees were spreading rumors about them shortening the cycle but it never happened. I wouldn't count on it man. You are probably going to have to do the whole 22 weeks of suck.

Nov 19, 2021 · OSUT is like basic for the first 8wks, and then things get a little more relaxed after that- Said every Army recruiter who never went to OSUT. 19 weeks of dick in the dirt! (Infantry feel free to add any where else you think scouts put their dicks) I had Christmas exodus, which made it worse. When we got back, the drills started us off from ...
Insight Into Life as an IN OSUT PL : r/army - Reddit
Mar 13, 2021 · I left Sandhill after 12 months as an OSUT PL in October. It was honestly a great experience. I was fortunate to have amazing drill sergeants and a command team that turned out to be great mentors. The …

OSUT I talked to some trainees this weekend while at Fort Benning for the Best Ranger Competition and they said they are the last OSUT cycle to be at 22 weeks. They said after them it was going back to 14. Is there any validity to this or were they just confused? 2 Share Add a Comment Sort by: Search Comments PoundLow3016

Aug 11, 2023 · OSUT Going into senior year of high school, recently enlisted 11B with the Nat. Guard (thinking about transitioning to active later on), and have pretty much a full year before I ship out for OSUT at Ft. Moore in July. I understand that OSUT is essentially a seamless transition from basic training to AIT; anyone know if there are two separate graduations for …
What is OSUT like? : r/Militaryfaq - Reddit
May 2, 2024 · I'm shipping out for Fort Moore in a couple days for OSUT infantry on the 11X option 40 contract. I know that there are basic phases like Red phase and Blue phase and White phase and all that other stuff. But what does a typical day look like in OSUT? What times do we wake up and go to sleep? How stressful can it be?
