2022年5月16日 · Replace the L12 100nH inductor with bigger value (e.g. 1uH) and the VCO will oscillate. But you have to pick-up the output signal from the emitter, not from the collector, as it is now. Using LTspice I get steady oscillation arround 145 MHz, using the values and components in the picture attached.

2008年1月5日 · Beware that if you add positive feedback to make it oscillate the meter will almost certainly be damaged. You need to add a series resistor. As a field strength meter it will only see a few mV of signal but as an oscillator it could be more that the battery voltage.

2024年12月4日 · For the amplifier, gainmargin is positive for the stability. However for the OSC, negeative means the loop gain is less 0dB and we hope it is positive for the oscilltion. My puzzle is that it should not start the kick off of the OSC,but the transient alalysis showed it can oscillate and I think the transisnt is more accurate for simulation.
