2015年10月25日 · I do not buy the Ortega taco shells but I do buy the taco sauce. No mention of gluten-free on the label, but the ingrediants are all gluten free. Hopefully, the raw materials are gluten-free! We have not had a glutening yet! The company probably did not want to test or guarantee that the taco shells are gluten free because of liability issues.

They issue the following about Ortega( it says ORTEGA All Products, as it was in a big list of all the brands they sell) ORTEGA All Products. Ortega has been following a strict labeling policy with regard to any allergens in our foods and incoming ingredients.

2005年3月16日 · Hi. I’m a celiac and used a single packet of Ortega Taco Seasoning Mix last night. The ingredients looked OK but I was violently ill within an hour of eating it. I am now wondering if there was some gluten hiding in the ingredients “spices” and “natural flavor”. I would avoid using that product.

2008年1月22日 · Ortega is also safe. It is one I love. They adhere to a very strict labeling policy like Old El Paso. The last time I checked, all of their products were gluten-free. Daisy sour cream is safe if you can have dairy. The low-fat and fat-free versions are as well.

2007年10月30日 · Decided to look for issues, found the taco seasoning to be the problem, verified with my Nima (which others will tell you is no good for testing spices but it works fine as far as I'm concerned). I'm doing much better with McCormick certified gluten free taco seasoning mix.
