2024年6月2日 · When it comes to orchid photography, experimenting with different angles can help you capture unique and interesting shots. While it’s natural to want to photograph orchids from a straight-on angle, changing your perspective can create a more dynamic and visually appealing image.

Even if you don’t have a local orchid show or conservatory, find a greenhouse or florist that supplies orchids and go there to photograph. In the Chicago area, we have Orchids by Hausermann in Villa Park, my favorite place to photograph and buy orchids.

To take beautiful pictures of orchids, use good lighting, try close-up photography for detailed shots, play with how you position the orchids in the frame, experiment with different colors, and pick backgrounds carefully.
