2019年11月14日 · Hello, I realize this post is a bit old, but you should be fine to disable the OPUS CUCM Service Parameter as long as the phones support other codecs (such as G.711 or G.729) and the CUCM region & location settings allow for these other codecs.

2017年10月19日 · No problem at all. The SIP protocol uses SDP to negotiate the protocol. In CUCM's "Audio Codec Preference List" you can set the priority which codec will be used. You can see that OPUS is very high in default configuration, also OPUS is automatically on in CUCM. So two phones that support OPUS may already use OPUS as codec.

2016年2月2日 · My 8800 series phones are talking to each other with the Opus codec now. Firmware load sip88xx.11-5-1-18. CUCM version 11.5.1.10000-6. I didn't do anything special to enable this. I just happened to notice that was the codec in use on a live call between two of our 8800 series phones on that firmware.

2017年4月4日 · From the PVDM4 datasheet, OPUS is nowhere to be found. The only way to conference with OPUS that comes to mind is if you create a SIP trunk to a CMS and add the CMS as a new media resource.

2017年11月6日 · The "111" you're seeing is a codec named OPUS, which introduced in CUCM from version 11.x. This codec probably won't do you any harm here, but you can try to disable it. Just go to CUCM -> Service Parameters -> CallManager (select it). Find "Opus Codec Enabled", and check it as Disabled. It should do the trick.
