The Aurora, Bravada, and Alero are making up for the drop in Intrigue, and Silhouette sales are flat. The missing models account for all of the drop in sales vs. 1999. The reduced line-up puts Olds in line with Saturn (in terms of number of models offered) and its sales are similar.

Hey all, not an Aurora owner but I am an Oldsmobile owner(2001 Intrigue) and I do really like the Aurora though. Also like discussion of Oldsmobiles as I have always liked them. I'm 26 so I haven't owned alot of cars, but the Intrigue is my 3rd Olds and first brand new one.

I have a 1997 Oldsmobile aurora...The transmission acts like it has no power at all it wont go into any gears at all even reverse or drive unless you get the rpms up to like 5000 then it will go into gear but to get it to drive you have to stay at the high rpms....just wondering if it is the tranny or something else causing it...and also the ...

My Aurora, after reaching normal operating temp, begins to chime & low oil pressure light comes on at low idle, goes away as soon as I increase the rpm's to about 1,000. I've replaced the oil pressure sending unit,..this problem began right after a GM dealership removed & rebuilt the heads due to excessive oil leaks.

Same exact problem for me today out of the blue: My 2001 Aurora V8, cold start this am ran terribly rough and sputtering, "low oil pressure" alert on the dic and then the engine light came on - after about 10 minutes of warm up and 3 restarts to try and reset any computer flukes, the engine had warmed up to temp and all was running nicely again.
