2022年7月15日 · Tom, access is 64 bit. Went to ODBC Data Source Manager for 64-bit. I see 32 bit and 64 bit ODBC that I believe are for my Data Source, but it won't let me configure any, and the 64 bit says the driver for this 64-bit System DSN does not exist. It can only be removed. I am able to Configure in the 32-bit ODBC manager, 64-bit won't let me configure.

So while a ODBC driver to SQL server is bit neutral, the ODBC driver when connecting to ACE data engine MUST match because the database engine is running ON YOUR computer. If Access could run as a “service” on a server, then either ODBC driver could work.

2024年9月12日 · Unfortunately, there is a misunderstanding: the "Test scenario #1 - ODBC Admin" is a Windows bug: look at on the "Test scenario #2 - Access": this opens the right ODBC Admin panel and the Oracle ODBC x64 driver works like a charm.
