Commencement Weekend is May 16-18, 2025. The Tentative Schedule of Events will be posted at the end of February/beginning of March. Diploma Ceremony dates and times are now available. The Office of the Registrar updates information regarding future graduation dates.

University Commencement Ceremony: Sunday, May 18, at 9 a.m. It features the conferral of degrees, awarding of honorary degrees, greetings by University officials, Valedictory, awarding of the Laetare Medal, and the Commencement Speaker.

The official graduation date for undergraduate students is the first Sunday after final grades are due. The official graduation date for professional students (Graduate School, Law School, Graduate Architecture, and Graduate Business) is the first Saturday after final grades are due.

The Graduate School has three graduation dates: Summer, January, and May. Degrees are conferred and diplomas awarded at the time of each graduation.
