2013年7月7日 · The little bit of plated shot I've loaded fit very well with one of BPIs Teflon wraps. The Hornady 00 is a tight fit with the Teflon wrap but doable. I could be wrong about the plated buckshot running a little smaller/size but the plated federal prem. 00 I pulled measured 31.5 and weighed 49 grains.

2011年1月21日 · I use plated buckshot for deer hunting. For years, my preferred ammo was Remington's Premier nickel-plated 000 buckshot. Unfortunately, they dropped that product a while ago and I switched to Federal and Winchester copper-plated 000 buck. I prefer that size over anything smaller. Dan

2011年1月26日 · On the cheap end, I see Rio has Pheasant loads (1 1/4oz) at 1,330fps for less than $7/box...I'm also looking at the B&P "Long Range" ammo for $12/box that features 1 1/4oz of Zinc-plated shot at 1,330fps. I still have many 1 3/8oz hand-loads, so I'm really focused on the more "conservative" 1 1/4oz payload.
