2024年6月27日 · PS You can find all the clubs and their websites if you search for Stern ICC (the governing body of all stern clubs) on Google. To my knowledge, there are a few other non-stern clubs (GEM, VQ, PGI, VSG, etc.). Personally, I would not recommend these, except for VQ. Your time is probably better spent elsewhere. 2024年3月27日 · NYU has a much more useful, deeper, historical, and local alumni network. The Columbia program was not in a small part crafted by former NYU program alum/admins from Josh Kahr to others. NYU's program is one of the oldest in the country and has been well respected in NYC RE circles for a very long time. Not a fungible comparison.

2020年4月30日 · I think NYU Stern is a better deal. I believe unless you're in a special program, you aren't guaranteed admission into Haas. Also, Stern will just have better banking placement into NYC while Haas will have the advantage on the west coast. 2021年3月30日 · College Experience: A lot of people who don't go to Stern/NYU say that we have no campus, but I disagree. Most buildings around Washington Square Park (basically our quad) are NYU residence halls and academic buildings so it definitely feels like a “real” college campus. Greek life isn’t huge but it’s there if you’re interested.

2023年4月1日 · Stern is the clear winner here since ur dead set on IB. Absolute number of placements has consistently been top 3, up there with H/W, on any ranking/database u come across (WSO, Peakframeworks, etc.).

2011年12月5日 · NYU Econ actually does very well with Wall Street recruiting. I think they benefit greatly from all the firms that go to NYU to recruit Stern students. Very similar to how Penn CAS relationship with Wharton in that the prestige of the B-School amplifies the opportunities for students at other schools.

2012年2月25日 · Ranking: While US News provides their annual rankings, ranking can differ based on what you want to do after graduation. One way to determine this is to look at the school’s statistics on where their alumni accept jobs. Stern and Yale typically have more students who accept jobs in IB after graduation that MIT.
