How NTN Works National Testing Network directly contracts with public safety departments across the country to test candidates for jobs. Once a candidate completes this simple process, information and test scores will be sent directly to each department.

NTN Tests - Law Enforcement Law Enforcement Testing System (FrontLine National) Total Test Time: Approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes Human Relations Test. The Human Relations Test focuses on using good judgment in enforcement, public relations, and teamwork. It was specifically designed for entry-level law enforcement.

You must ensure that your setup is compatible with NTN’s technical requirements for Virtual Testing before your scheduled test session. Test sessions can last up to three (3) hours. Take care of personal needs (i.e., food, restroom) before testing begins.

The NTN Physical Abilities Test (PAT) includes four components: push-ups, sit-ups, 300 meter run and 1.5 mile run. Some departments may not require all components. All Law enforcement candidates will take the PAT.

National Testing Network provides convenient, professional administration of its proprietary medic physical ability test, the Medic Mile. The Medic Mile is designed to assess the physical job requirements for EMTs and Paramedics. Results are available for verification by any NTN department or via a candidate printed letter.

You can add more departments before your test date but once your test is complete, you will only be allowed to add departments that are new to NTN. NTN requires 3 months between written tests. Filter Your Results
