Jan 28, 2016 · The first time you're likely to run into NCR soldiers is south of Primm. If you have some NCR reputation (which you probably don't yet) they'll give a mission related to the powder gangers. You can get some NCR rep by doing quests at the Mojave Outpost, which you run into soon after. It's in the southeast corner of the map.

Feb 5, 2016 · This armor can be found on NCR Veteran Rangers throughout the game in areas occupied by the NCR (e.g. Camp Golf, the NCR Ranger Safehouse, Ranger Station Bravo, Camp Forlorn Hope, etc.) or if the Courier is labeled a terrorist by the NCR, as there will be ranger kill-squads sent to eliminate them.

Jul 19, 2012 · As far as being branded a terrorist, and having NCR hit squads coming after you, I don't know if it affects that or not. Hope this helped. I don't have confirmation on this, but I'm at a point in the game where I'm idolized with both factions, haven't used console hacks (you dirty cheater), am doing Lonesome Road now, and plan to nuke them both.

According to The Vault, arming ARCHIMEDES will kill all the NCR troops stationed at HELIOS-I. While that is a regrettable consequence, I really (really) want Euclid's C-Finder. So when this awe-inspiring weapon goes off, exactly how much NCR infamy am I going to gain? I want to know where my rep with them will stand after the fact.

Dec 30, 2011 · If you have high enough barter, the easiest thing to do is to simply sell the NCR money as one lump sum to a merchant with enough caps. The exchange rate for caps at high barter is exactly the same as the exchange rate you get for chips (1:2.5 ratio).

May 12, 2014 · Wild Child reputation shouldn't be a problem however, unless you want to do the main NCR plotline. Since it's obtained by having very high amounts of both fame and infamy, it is considered neutral and shouldn't usually result in attacks on sight- even in NCR areas. If you are considered hostile, use an NCR uniform as a disguise.

More specifically, you became locked out of the NCR ending when you either replaced House with Yes Man, met all the factions for Yes Man, or dealt with the Omertas for Mr. House.

Jul 23, 2013 · After gaining some reputation with the NCR a ranger ran up to me and delivered a NCR Emergency Radio to me, which can apparently be used to call for support and backup. However, it only works within "NCR Operational Area", and apparently Bitter Springs, ostensibly a NCR camp, isn't in that area.

Jun 10, 2011 · In Fallout: New Vegas, you meet many ranger NPCs, among which is Ranger Andy in Novac who seems to suggest that it's possible for the Courier to become one. I came to the conclusion of a possibility from a question the Courier asks Andy: How does one become a Ranger? to which Andy replies something along the lines of

I have a positive reputation with the NCR, and I also have the NCR Safehouse key from Col. James Hsu. But, the door to the safe-house still says "Requires Key". I did my research and found this on the Fallout Wikia: After discovering the location, an NCR Sergeant and an NCR soldier may come and talk to you.
