The Logo. The NC State logo is an official representation of NC State University. It both identifies and defines us. It appears on all official university communications. Its directness, hard edges and unadorned type fit who we are: We are purposeful. We are modern. We are NC State.

2019年3月19日 · Logos Digital and Vector Logos. NC State logotype files are font-independent. The prescribed Univers fonts do not need to be loaded on your system, and no license is needed. The PNG files of the NC State brick for Web uses are available in several sizes, from the smallest allowable to the largest.

NC State adopted a new version of the Block S logo in 2005. The new design is slightly different than the former design, but frequently overlooked. The image below illustrates the two versions side-by-side. The current design (pictured on the left) shows how the “N” and “C” have been stretched beyond the open center areas of the “S”.

The NC State brand is more than a logo. Our brand is the sum of everything we do — from solution-driven education, research and scholarship to the work that supports and sustains our efforts in the classroom and the lab.

The NC State Brick or the NC State ECE logotype should be used on all communications. The default use of the NC State ECE logotype is two-toned, with red Brick and black text. On dark background, the variant with white text should be used instead.

NC State provides the various official logos for download, along with the required guidelines for their use. Note that the “Block S” and the Chancellor’s Seal are not appropriate for use in departmental communications as their use is for specific functions only.
