When you cut the stalk you look at the cut end to check for worm/bug holes, and if you see any you slice the mushroom in half while holding it in your palm to get a better view of if its a keeper or not.

2019年1月8日 · The just bought two of the Opinel and one mora mushroom knife as presents for Christmas. One Opinel rattled as the locking neck was so loose and the blade was not sharpened. The other was very nice and sharp. I replaced the one 30 dollar Opinel with a 10 dollar Mora. The Mora is designed to cut by pinching the mushroom with your thumb and blade.
