The story is heavily spoiled and because of that you could argue that they harm the sales of the original piece of media.

Which led to others seeing the sudden trend for movie recap channels and making their own movie channel and the cycle repeating itself. Hence the sudden explosion of movie recap channels.

2022年2月11日 · Yeah earlier I waited to watch movies. But now I have movie recaps and I would never watch the movie again as I know what's going to happen. Although 7 minutes summary of a web or TV series is ok. Cause series are long. But 15 minutes recap of a movie covers the whole plot and makes it uninteresting to watch after watching its recap.

2022年12月18日 · Yeah, they are still monetized. You can check this by right clicking in their channel page, going to inspect source, and trying CRTL+F to look for monetization. It will either say true or false. Most of the bigger recaps channels I've checked are monetized, otherwise they wouldn't be posting new videos.
