2020年8月13日 · Even though the mouse was not specifically designed for a specific computer desktop and/or laptop, it amazes me that Alienware cannnot come up with a software that would allow recording mouse clicks on a $100 mouse. What a disappointment.

2021年2月15日 · Hello everyone. My DELL - Inspiron 15 5593 touchpad clicks (both left and right) have both decided to stop working. the touchpad still works when you move the cursor but the clicks aren't responding.

Ensure that the optical opening at the bottom of the mouse is clean. Ensure that the surface you are using has enough of a pattern in it that the mouse can indicate when it is moved. Use a mouse pad so that the mouse can indicate the movement by reflections. A uniform surface is harder for the mouse to indicate when it is being moved.

2023年1月29日 · I have an old AW610 mouse and a more recent one. Recently, the old one started double-clicking on single clicks. I switched to the new mouse to test and sure enough it's double-clicking too. I then switched to another mouse altogether, a cheap one probably 10 years old, and that one works fine. I re-installed AWCC and the problem persists.

2005年7月17日 · As a trouble shooting method, try using an external mouse and see if the same thing happens. Sometime the touchpads are very sensitive to gentile touches. When that happens the pad respond with a click or double click as the finger raises off of the pad.

2007年5月7日 · an update on this issue. I got a new palmrest off e-bay ($15 including shipping) from username tex-jet. I then had the palmrest installed by a local repair shop ($65). The left mouse button now works fine. I then dissected the old palmrest and found what happened. Underneath the mouse button is a small plastic bubble.
