Bike Forums - The OC - Mountains to the Sea Trail
2009年11月9日 · I am wondering if the Mountains to the Sea Trail is all Class 1/ No cars from start to finish. Looking at the OCTA map on line, it appears to be that from the Back Bay into Tustin, then share the ride. I know it's paved up to Bill Barber Park. Just road San Diego Ck to 133. Not sure how up to date the map is. The one on the bike must be 5 yrs back.

2024年12月10日 · Reminds one of the Cyclists' Special, that British Railways film from the '50s. I took part in the Mojave By Moonlight Century in about '77, where we rode from somewhere like Claremont California to Barstow, and took the train back.

For most casual cyclists the terrain is impossible. Also, the vast newly developed suburbs are nearly 100% cul-de-sacs that do not connect to one another.

Washington Cascades tour 2024 - a Bob Freeman production
Day 6, The trail back to North Bend the whole way. It starts right at the Iron Horse and ends a block from the homestead. I've got us detouring from the trail up to the summit for beerskis and lunch at Dru Bru. Adds 5 miles or so and it's a bit of a hump up there. 63 miles, all gravel. The only alternative would be to carry lunch with us.

Should an MTB saddle be lower than a road bike's?
2017年12月15日 · I had my first "real" ride on a hardtail MTB this week - on terrain that was frankly way above my ability. One thing I immediately noticed was that having the saddle set at the same height that I use on my road bike (25-30 degree bend in knee on the downstroke) was *way* too high to allow me confidently navigate obstacles where I needed to stop frequently.
