Experience views of Banff rarely seen. Italian for “iron road”, Via Ferrata is an assisted climbing experience along five breathtaking routes on the cliffs above Mt Norquay. Climb ladders, cross suspension bridges and marvel at the grandeur of the mountain vistas that surround you.

Here in Banff National Park, you’ll discover views that make you stop and say “WOW!”, untouched wilderness teeming with fascinating natural wonders, and famous Canadian Rockies hospitality. But we’ll let you in on a little secret.

We’re the high-action mountain with zero pressure (plus, we’re all really nice here – ask us for our favourite Norquay spots). Ski lines on our steeper terrain, take it easy on our gentle, undulating groomers and perfectly-groomed beginner runs, or test your tricks-status on our terrain park.

The longest tour, it includes all of Norquay’s via ferrata routes into one big day! Be prepared for moderate exertion all day with picturesque rest stops and an included lunch up on the mountain. Finish your tour with a well-deserved (included) beverage and après at the Cliffhouse Bistro.

Riding on an inflatable tube, race down Alberta’s longest tube lanes and our magic-carpet surface lift will conveniently carry you back to the top!
