Mora bushcraft? Is it a good starter knife?
2018年11月7日 · You might even want to start with the Mora "Basic" 511. It's an incredible bargain and a great knife. The Mora Companion is in some ways close to perfection... The Mora Bushcraft gives you a thicker, heavier blade and is a real workhorse. The red handled classic Moras will always have a place in my heart. Welcome to BCUSA. ...
Is the Mora no. 1.0 (3" blade) useful for Bushcraft?
2025年1月31日 · A Mora 1/0 Classic is a fine bushcraft knife. I use this very similar 125th anniversary Classic all the time. Not good for batoning or chopping but for everything else it's great. Victor View attachment 2066170
Mora knife breakage??? - Bushcraft USA Forums
2016年5月15日 · Overall though, Moras are pretty hard to break, even when batoning (depending on the model and technique). They excel at so many tasks, I'd take a Mora (especially my Triflex blade) any day as a primary survival knife. I can't think of a single essential survival-oriented task where a good Mora would be lacking.
Mora Triflex Carbon Steel Knife Review | Bushcraft USA Forums
2011年1月7日 · The Triflex blade is the best carbon steel bladed knife ive used in a long time. Ive put that Mora Triflex through its paces for about 2 years now and its still going strong with no chips or anything. I use it daily with my fire rod, wood carving and even for butchering wild game. It is a superb knife in any way for my tastes and uses.
Mora Black Flat Grind - Bushcraft USA Forums
2020年3月15日 · I dislike scandi. I do like my Mora 511 quite a bit, but even with that knife I would rather it be full flat or saber. Im not interested in buying more knives for myself, but theoretically if I were on the market for a new mora and the bushcraft Black was in saber or full flat, I’d definitely choose that over any other scandi mora.
Mora Bushcraft Orange - Bushcraft USA Forums
2014年12月26日 · I NEVER use a knife for chopping and I don't believe one knife can do it all.The 90° spine on the Mora Bushcraft orange throws a shower of hot sparks, it holds an edge well and like all Moras it comes razor sharp. I have no doubt this knife would stand up to and perform very well in any reasonable situation you could throw at it.
Mora for processing deer - Bushcraft USA Forums
2015年10月11日 · For many millennia human folk skinned varmints with nothing more than a flake of flint, or a sharpened bone,,,; I'd suppose any sort of knife shaped metal object with a sharpened edge would do for a hunting knife. A Mora is a $500 knife for $15 or less. They (Mora's) can be what ever they're called on to be.
Mora Kansbol -A Seriously Underrated Knife - Bushcraft USA Forums
2018年5月7日 · I love mine, it's a real go-to knife for all sorts of tasks. In the kitchen, camp or indoors, it's a lightsaber. Such a smooth and silky slicer with the front of the blade. And as you said, so very light weight, but not a lightweight when it comes to performance. I see why the Mora 2000 was the knife of choice for the Swedish Military.
Knife comparison question (Mora vs Mora or Both?) - Bushcraft …
2019年1月20日 · It's super comfortable and non-slip. Both knives will perform equally, but the Black is just more comfortable to use. If money is an object you can't go wrong with the Robust. But if it's not, the Black is the better knife. If I didn't have my modified FFG spear point Terava Jaakaripuukko 110, the Bushcraft Black would be my all-time favorite ...
Mora Lok knife steel type - Bushcraft USA Forums
2023年3月14日 · I emailed mora about the steel type for their Lok knife. Here is their response: The new Ash Wood Outdoor Collection is made out of the same high grade knife steel alloys used in our production for years and decades. It is not a new steel, nor a new supplier, not even the “recycling” is new. We are just more eager to mention our sustainable ...
