4 天之前 · The beach (also known as Devil’s Slide) features a sheltered cove surrounded by cliffs that drop abruptly into the Pacific Ocean. The parking lot is located on the east side of Highway 1 which also allows access to McNee Ranch and Montara Mountain, part of Montara State Beach .

4 天之前 · Half Moon Bay State Beach offers four different beach day-use parking lots to choose from: Francis, Venice, Dunes, and Roosevelt, as well as a campground that provides accommodations for those who wish to visit longer.

Twenty-five species of marine plants and animals, new to science were discovered at Moss Beach in the Montara SMR. Permitted/Prohibited Uses: Take of all living marine resources is prohibited.

Can I camp on the beach? No. Camping on the sand is prohibited. However, our premium sites and tent-only sites offer bluff camping close to the ocean. How many vehicles can I have at my campsite? Three license plates max per site including legally towed-in vehicles and trailers.
