2010年8月18日 · Sure i still suffer from depression, sometimes mild, and sometimes more intense depending on what the cause is, but since mirtazapine at 15mg i feel like my mind and mood is significantly stable. still get deeply depressed sometimes, but the rapid and unpredictable shift in mood has been pretty much static on mirtazapine.

2008年6月21日 · I would've thought mirtazapine would make the withdrawal worse. It's an alpha-2 adregenic receptor antagonist which is the opposite of clonidine which is use for W/D. High norepinephrine is also a key player in opiate W/D. Mirtazapine acts as NE reuptake inhibitor increasing it's levels which I thought would make the anxiety and physical W/D worse.

2015年7月21日 · Many 'trip' reports say that Mirtazapine causes hallucinations at high doses and vivid and lucid dreams at lower doses, which I would say could be used recreational. I even read on Erowid about some guy and 5 of his friends taking 10mg each of Mirtazapine each and each of them experienced hallucinations. Just have a read if anyone is interested.

2013年2月24日 · I have been taking Mirtazapine for a couple years now, I take 60mg nightly (high dose I know!), and experienced all the side effects you describe at first. I can relate to the 'zombie' feeling and feeling drowsy all day, those side effects go away after a good month or two.

2017年12月18日 · There was one study - is one study - which indicates mirtazapine is about equally as effective as mianserin at boosting NA, at 45 mg, vs 60 mg mianserin. The way each felt - they're both potent - but remeron puts the smack down on 5HT release inhibition also. Depends if you want that or not.

2014年11月28日 · Mirtazapine was a great motivating anti depressant and anti anxiety for me. I took it 15 mg for a week then moved up to 30 then eventually 45mg. The higher the dosage the better the anti depressant effect.

2014年8月5日 · Mirtazapine has given me the least side effects of any of them, but unfortunately is just not doing the job. “Treatment-resistant major depressive disorder” is pretty accurate. I’m willing to try antidepressants that fall outside the SSRI/SNRI/MAOI categories, but that is the majority of what doctors want to push.
