EDIT : you don't miss much with the stock gun regardless, the perks of the .50 cal minigun aren't anything wonderful.

2017年11月28日 · Against aircraft, the .50 MG might destroy some things a little faster, but with good aim, the minigun will be able to take down aircraft in short order as well. Dont forget about the recoil change between the minigun and stock 50cal variant aswell. For me that was the sole reason i changed it back to the stock variant.

2020年12月13日 · The .50 cal is good because it hits hard and fast without the wind-up that most heavy weapons have. The Gatling Gun sips ammo, but has poor DPS. The Gauss Minigun has excellent DPS, but the ammo is heavy and one-offish.

2021年8月29日 · Mainly miniguns u just hold the trigger and spray away. Machine guns are best used by tap firing them. Keeps the accuracy good and reduces shot spread. Both are designed to strip opponents weapons so its just personal preference. You can hold and spray machine guns but at any sort of range u will struggle to hit what ur aiming for.

2019年6月23日 · I prefer the minigun, it is simply the most devastating weapon there is as long as you have the ammo to use it. Though admittedly for general use the .50cal is better simply because it doesn't have the wind-up time for single targets that the minigun does. I mostly use the minigun for bullet sponges and large swarms of enemies.

2020年9月7日 · The minigun is better versus big enemies, bosses and tightly packed swarms. The downside is that you can’t heal or swap weapons until the barrels stop spinning completely. The accuracy is not great beyond 10-20 meters, unless you’re shooting the side of a barn.

You want to use mini gun when you're focusing on one target that is within range of it. ex. if you're fighting a tank that is in your face, doens't make sense to use rockets if you're only hitting him and he's in mini gun range. IF you need to stay in the outskirts of a fight, or want to hit multiple targets at once, switch to your rockets.
