Mildew is a major antagonist in DreamWorks' Dragons. He is the secondary antagonist in Riders of Berk, and a supporting character in Season 2 of Defenders of Berk. Unlike most of the people of Berk, Mildew has a deep hatred for the dragons, and his goal is determined to get rid of them.

Mildew is a consummate complainer; Gobber even said of his arrival "Here comes Mildew with the complaint of the day." It is implied that Mildew's house was built so far away from the village because of his abrasive personality.

Because he absolutely hated dragons and everything to do with them, he was an old man who couldn't let go of the past and when proven wrong he was to cowardice and to prideful to admit it and take responsibility for what he has done. :Edit forgot two words. I think his appearance at the end of RTTE was a mere easter egg.
