2017年5月1日 · What I settled on was the S.W.E.A.T Pledge – a 12-point statement of belief that espoused my personal feelings toward work. It stands for “Skill and Work Ethic Aren’t Taboo,” and its format was inspired by the Boy Scout Law and AA’s Twelve Step Recovery Plan.

The S.W.E.A.T. Pledge. Back in 2008, Mike wanted to find a way to articulate the qualities he values most. He ended up writing The S.W.E.A.T. Pledge , which stands for “Skills and Work Ethic Aren’t Taboo.”

2022年1月21日 · He decided to start a foundation (mikeroweWORKS.org) that gives scholarships to students going to trade school- but to be able to use the scholarship, they have to sign the S.W.E.A.T pledge. This means that “Skill and Work Ethic Aren’t Taboo”. He also developed a series of YouTube videos that explain the pledge and why it is important.
