MT bailey had the talent to keep firmware updates uploaded consistently on all there product pages back in 2015 - no way they had the free staff to spend a year re-writing M32 firmware.

Anyone been experiencing issues with Midas m32? Mine has started just freezing randomly when I try to switch selected channels. The select button won’t work till I hold it for a while or press sometimes. Just become a real POS recently. I’ve updated to the newest firmware and even reflashed it afterwards. Real disappointment of a mixer.

Firmware version 4.0 has the "V.1 Fader" feature - should it return the speed of the faders as it was in version 3.07? Does this feature do anything else? In the future, will there be a choice between the speed of the faders? Because me and my friends who work on the Midas m32 / m32R don't like the new faders movement.

I also found, and turned-on, Fast Faders under Setup. Will having Fast Faders on wear out the faders faster or reduce their lifespan?

For example, let’s say the subnet mask is: 255.255.255.0. Then if the M32 is using an IP number like 192.168.1.x, the Surface should be using an IP number like 192.168.1.y.

I'm aware that there are software updates available for all of these (I'm pretty sure that we're still running 4.02 on the M32). Are there any issues with any of these firmware updates that people are aware of which should make me hesitant to update?
