How to Purchase Tickets | Metra
Most Metra tickets can be purchased from vending machines at downtown stations and the busiest outlying stations. These machines offer a quick and convenient way to buy tickets for your journey, including options for One-Way Tickets, Day Passes and Monthly Passes.
Fares - Metra
On weekends and select holidays, kids ride FREE with Metra's Family Fares. Up to three children aged 11 and under ride free with each fare-paying adult. Purchase a ticket or use your Monthly Pass as the adult fare.
