MegaBus DC to NYC: Pros and Cons : r/washingtondc - Reddit
Sep 10, 2022 · Megabus will sometimes only cost $1 (and that's the only time I ever took them) and I never had any issues, but honestly wouldn't want to complain for a $5 roundtrip to NYC either. Flixbus is also always cheap, their most expensive fare is $31 (and they used to be as cheap as $5, unfortunately it seems like they no longer offer that).

Story from Toronto. Took Megabus a few years ago and it was ok, so I thought I’d try again. BIG MISTAKE. When i opened their website the ticket said $30. I opened another window to check another price, and when i came back to the Megabus window 2 minutes later it refreshed and the price was now $35. Weird but fine, I’m buying last-minute.
Not Accepting Payment : r/Megabus - Reddit
Nov 30, 2023 · Is Megabus down? Ive tried booking a trip from MD to NY for the past hour now. Everytime I enter the card details and it processes the payment it always comes out to a "You must have entered wrong billing details or incorrect card details" and then it tells me to book again. Except the seats I reserve each time is marked sold the next time I ...
Has anyone used MegaBus? : r/KingstonOntario - Reddit
Mar 8, 2018 · MegaBus is great if you can get tickets well in advance and don't mind feeling like a sardine in a can. As another posted, they are often late on arrival and they don't run as frequently as I'd like (10am is the earliest departure to Toronto, whereas they used to have an 8am departure which better suite day-trippers like myself; the latest departure from Toronto to …
Amtrak versus MegaBus for NYC trip. : r/nova - Reddit
Oct 30, 2021 · I used to go to NYC at least two weekends per month. I started out Megabus/Bolt/etc and did that probably 20 or 30 times but grew frustrated with the extreme delays, especially when traveling during rush hour, and the WiFi never seemed to work. Amtrak was much more reliable in terms of schedule, had better WiFi, and was more comfortable all …
Megabus/White Marsh parking? : r/baltimore - Reddit
Oct 19, 2023 · No charge, just make sure you park in the west half of lot. There’s clear signage designating the Megabus parking area; you can’t miss it. And you must print and display the parking pass (the other commenter has linked) on your dash/windshield area.
Megabus or Greyhound? : r/houston - Reddit
Sep 30, 2021 · Megabus has just one scheduled trip in each direction, with fares varying from $25 up to $40 on the dates I checked. Again, they're nonrefundable. Greyhound runs the same route seven times a day, so you are likely to lock in a decent fare and schedule because they have more available seats.
Megabus NYC to DC experience : r/AskNYC - Reddit
When Megabus first started out up here, it was amazing. Cheap, organized well and I could show up 5 mins before and still get onboard. I used to take it all the time to Balt/DC. After they moved away from Penn Station, it became a total shit-show. Unless I was traveling off-peak, I always ponied up for Amtrak instead.
Flixbus and Megabus : r/houston - Reddit
Feb 19, 2022 · I used to use Megabus all the time going to San Antonio and back. Wear a good-fitting mask in case you get stuck near someone who is farty or stinky in general. Their “wifi” sucks. Bring a battery pack for your phone. Download movies ahead of time to fill the time. I always sat in the top seats, better vantage point for taking pictures.
Is Megabus as bad as the reviews say? : r/Shoestring - Reddit
Going one way from Chicago to Indianapolis as part of a move back to Chicago. I found a Megabus ticket for $10 and a direct flight (ORD to IND) for $90. I have been on Greyhound before and had an awful experience, so I looked up reviews of Megabus and saw that they weren’t much better, averaging 1 or 2 stars, and lots of horror stories.
