MechaPwn is already known for being one of the best softmods to use on your PS2 slim/5000x (the other being FMCB) but the downside is that you have to use Force Unlock to play PS2 backups. Using that consequently breaks being able to read PS1 discs.

MechaPwn 3.0 cannot fix your model name, so you need to restore it with MechaPwn 2.0. With MechaPwn 2.0 install CEX option for your model. With MechaPwn 3.0 install whatever you want.
