2010年2月1日 · My 2007 Mazda auto lift gate motor runs halfway up then stops with the 3 beeps. It will not lower the lift gate at all and gives 3 beeps. The latching mechanism seems to work fine. We have removed the motor module which seems to work fine. The gearing seems to be working smoothly. It seems to be an electronic issue.

Completely normal operation. The CX-9 is equipped with a "grade-logic" transmission, which uses various sensors through out the vehicle (i.e. abs, throttle position, brake switch, yaw rate, etc) and determines the fact that the vehicle is in a slope and to help the vehicle slow down or maintain a safe speed it down shifts to a specified gear depending on all the inputs from the sensors.

2007 CX-7 GT with 50K Recently had a problem with the engine surging/losing-power during acceleration. Felt at first like a transmission problem as if the tranny was slipping, but with no bang.

But I had the same issue starting mid-2010 and got it fixed about 2 months ago. I found that the symptoms dimished after I had been driving for about 15-20 minutes, so I thought my plugs were getting bad and needed a warmer engine to work better (even though Mazda installs plugs rated for 90K miles / 145K km, and I only used 2/3 of their life).

My first car was a 2006 Mazda 3, really liked that car.. Had twins and needed a bigger vehicle. Chose the Tribute because I liked Mazda and it was cheap. Picked up a 2010 and had no problems until at 33k I had to accelerate quickly at a left turn and the tranny failed, wouldn't get power to the wheels.

June 2010 edited June 2010 Folks -- Just have been noticing when turning down a steep hill from an uphill grade -- the TCS kicks in and hold the car back. Almost like a rubbing effect until the car straightens out.
