2010年8月14日 · If you have ever seen a maxxforce 11 or 13 you know how much stuff is around the engine. This engine is by-far, the most cluttered, complicated engine I have ever seen or worked on. The way all the hoses/ intercoolers, wireharness are routed most components are interlocked with multiple other parts that make any work very labour intensive.

Just a sudden loss of power. So I took it in to have it looked at. Dealer couldn't find any faults. I left it at that. A few days later I decided I wanted the DPF cleaned.

2013年1月2日 · The Navistar motor requires no DEF, it has a EGR system to meet EPA emissions as opposed to the SCR system on the Cummins. Some folks have had some serious problems with this system in the Maxxforce engines but in the 3 years I owned one I never did. Getting one serviced can be a bit more challenging though.

2021年6月30日 · I am considering bumping the power from 215 to the rated 260 for the 2011 Maxxforce 7 engine. The question is whether there is any easily available upgrade route to follow. I had a duramax diesel in the past that was easily upgradeable by simply replacing the engine control computer. Is such a thing available for the Maxxforce 7?

2017年12月26日 · The maxxforce 7 is a problem child but what isn't with the name maxxforce. It's the engine navistar supplied ford other wise none as 6.4 power stroke and it was a steaming pile in fords super duties. They had major regen issues that diluted the oil with fuel prematurely wearing all internal hard parts especially the overhead.
