However, due to some reasons, I now have to use Mathtype by inserting an Object > MathType 5.0 Equation. I wish to copy-paste my office equation in the MathType editor. But in doing so, MathType does not adapt some of the formats (i.e. square root symbol converts to '?' and superscripts change into ^#).

Sorry for my honesty that I don't find any Microsoft official article to claim that Office 365 is compatible with Mathtype. I only find the clarification in MathType Support. Actually, since word 2016 or later, Mathtype is an third party add-in works with word.

2019年10月25日 · My work has MathType installed, and I can use every common keyboard shortcut except for ctrl+v. I've gone through to check keyboard assignments, and ctrl+v is still assigned to EditPaste, and there appears to be no other command or macro assigned to ctrl+v. The shortcut works in other Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), but not Word.

2017年3月17日 · I used MathType in Word for years without any problem. Yesterday, after a Windows update, only 2/3 of the equations is visible. The other third is hidden by the line above. I tried changing line spacing and many other things but nothing works. The document is fine on another computer.

2016年1月12日 · MathType claims to have sumitted all the details to Microsoft several years ago but to no avail. I am using Word 2011 on a Mac under El Capitan. When I create a new Word document, I can insert as many MathType equations as I like without problem. But... when I reopen a saved document, any new equations I insert are aligned lowered by 17 pts.
